I almost thought garvault house would be lovely, but the cold showers were definetely a deal breaker! The dining was so pricey for limited options-seriously, a single menu choice? Where's the extra touch I expected? I woudl ve been happier with a warm welcome gift, but apparently that's too much to ask. So disappointing.

Thoroughly enjoyed adequate and great breakfasts.
Everything was amazing, hospitable staff, astonishing views of distant hills and mountains. I had the quadruple room, it was excellent and cosy. I think the hotel was stylish, will be back.

Appreciated gorgeous breakfast, warm enough room.
Had a very comfortable time. This was a stylish old-fashioned hotel in a stunning and incredible location. The staff was very hospitable, really made a difference to my trip. The venue was in the middle of Kinbrace. What's more, it was just next door to the local train station, amazing wildlife and the library until dinner reading by the fire.

Unique historical feel, Cozy drawing room with a real fire, Walking paths and nature access
Cold showers could be a major issue for comfort!!! Lack of modern amenities like televisions and basic kitchen facilities might leave many disappointed!!! Make sure to have cash ready for dinners without prior notice!!!

The remote setting offers a unique, tranquil escape with fine views that enhance the experience. The warm hospitality includes good homemade meals, though the lack of modern amenities, like TV, may deter some. Engaging with fellow guests by the fire added a personal touch, but be prepared for some challenges in accessing outside entertainment.
